Don’t you just hate it when you plant a seed to grow a tree and you can’t tell if it’s growing or not?? …..Ya me neither. I have yet to grow anything from a seed. Well maybe a lima bean or whatever they give you in school. You know, soak a school grade brown paper towel, pop the seed inside, all inside a ziplock bag, tape it to the window, and voila! Beans!

I can’t say I’ve never wanted to grow a tree from a seed…planted plenty of trees in my day, but never from a seed. I can be impatient (I know, right?!) so the thought is just a little discouraging. I’d have to put a pot filled with dirt, nothing pretty to show for it, in a prominent window in my house (I’ll forget to water it otherwise) to stare at for months on end, at nothing but dirt.
